After reading an article here that actually points to a Capital article I started to ask myself what is the Romanian Dream?
As you see it in the article and if you ask any smart young person from Romania, what is their dream, what they want to do, you allways get the same answer: to leave Romania!!
What kind of dream is this? What can you think of Romania if the biggest dream of young people is to leave the country? Why do they want to leave the country? What can you find 'outside' that you cannot get in Romania?
Why isn't anyone saying "I want to stay here and change something?!?!?!" Do something with a meaning, here in Romania?!?!?
You know what? Everyone that leaves the country is a coward. They all say that nothing can be done here, nothing can be changed... Maybe this is why nothing is changing, because 99% of Romanians think this way..
But still I cannot blame them.. they just leave looking for something better for them and for their family.. I just hope that one day they will be back and BE the change.
