2 days ago I saw a long long long movie: Munich.
The latest movie of Spielberg.
The movie somehow reminded me of Schlinder's List. It touches again the problem o jew persecution but this time not by Germans but with another twist.
The movie starts in 1972 at the Olimpics in Munich when a group of palestinians take hostages 11 athlets from Israel.
Soon Israel has to take a moral decision if they want to compromise their values to show that they keep their heads up. Maybe it's an easy choice for the leading ones but it's a difficult one for the man invovled deep down into the action
This turns into a thriller with a twist.
The only thing I did not liked was the last part of the movie which was overextended. If the movie was 30 min shorter it would make a great movie. Like this is only ok.
Anyway. If you enjoy thrillers go to this movie.
If you want to see another movie about how jews are opressed then go see it.
If you like long long long long long movies then go and see it.
